All this life is, is perception.  It’s the awareness within you that imitates upon your proximate environment.  All that surrounds you changes with your own outlook.  Life reflects your reality, through your own existence.  Your feelings radiate upon the realistic attributes that you allow to envelop you.  So if someone of a different ethnicity disgusts you, then you are in fact disgusted with yourself.  If you go to war just to kill a man without just cause, then you yourself wish to be dead. If you blame someone for your “lack thereof” life and your well-being as being compromised, then you are the one compromising your own life.

But if you love who you are and what you do, then that same love will follow you around and it will trickle down to those who feel the presence of unconditional love that can’t help but pour from the pores of you just to seep into theirs.  See that’s all this life is, it is the awareness of you and your own self and how much genuine love that you have to give.  It is true that you will only be as big as what you do.

God, the Universe and the landscape of you will always rearrange to bring to you what you believe in. In this, we find the literal sense that—as within, so without.

Understanding this is how lessons are learned when the problems of life present themselves.  Do you like your job? Are you happy with life?  Do you like the ones that surround you?  Are you comfortable with the relationships in your life?

Whatever is presented to you in your life is manifested from what you feel on the inside—as within. When you understand this, life starts to become a lot less murky—clarity becomes easier on the eyes.  How you feel falls at your feet and you can either just leave those feelings be as the may and walk away, or you can divvy them up between the good and the bad, leaving the bad behind and holding on with the firmest of grips to the realistic goodness that awaits with open arms.

But if you hold on those bad feelings, they will begin to mirror themselves with toxicity and you will start to notice that which surrounds you festers in anger—or so without.  The angrier you become, the more toxic your own environment becomes.  You will notice that the people surrounding you start to become angrier, less patient.  After all like attracts like right?  Even if you carry around suppressed anger, it will come bubbling up sooner rather than later and you will start to notice the anger bubbling up from those around you.   You may believe that by hiding you anger, everything is hunky dory but in reality, the blood that is boiling inside you is creating the perfect concoction for the recipe of toxicity.

If you feel abandoned, people will leave, some may even pass away, and those closest to you will withdraw emotionally.  So instead of feeling abandonment, be wise to harness your alone time and find yourself. There is no need for validation in this life, from anyone or anything, except your own inner being.  Manifest those feelings of satisfaction within and sooner or later something divine is going to come knocking on your door.

If you are one to beat yourself up with thoughts of doubt and pertain to being extremely critical of yourself, you will attract people who will reflect your own analytical behavior upon you.  These people will put you down, always looking forward to seeing you frown. Some may even go so far as to cause physical harm.  In these situations it is imperative to look at your life and the situation you find yourself in.  What is it that you would like to change?  If you change it on the inside, your external settings will change as well. After all, as within, so without.

If you feel loved, safe, secure, and happy with a manner of constancy moving through you, then you will find yourself basking in the sunny side of life, surrounded by people who love you. From here an inner integrity starts to build within you and it will be matched or exemplified by those that surround you.  The people in your life will be as authentic, creative, and as generous-hearted as you yourself are.

It is important to remember that peace within leads to the peace around you.  If you wish to change something in your life, you must first search the depths of yourself to alter your own attitude and outlook upon life.  This is the only way your outer world will ever become what you hoped it would always be. You have to change it on the inside first.  You must make the change whether or not others are willing to.  You must not wait for others to change.  To have something you’ve never had the pleasure of having, you must do something that you never dreamed of doing. Which can only be done by rearranging all that is within you.

Next time you find yourself in an argument with someone, let the peace in your heart radiate through you.  Stop arguing and watch with expedience how quick they are to stop arguing as well. Tell them you are sorry, even if you feel they are at fault and they will apologize directly.  It should be known that it is better to be happy than to be right.  Do not let your emotions and ego dictate your life.  People have always resonated at the same energy level as you do.  If you have love and God in your heart, you will attract loving and faithful people into your life.  And if they don’t, one must still love from a distance.  For it is true and puzzling but what you feel inside will always synchronize with that which lay just outside of your reach.

When you feel good about yourself and your life, you start to reverberate with a higher vibration of energy, you will tend to laugh more and your heart will begin to overflow with joy. And yes, there is a boundless and tectonic shift occurring as we speak, and it’s purpose is going to reshape the foundation of love and joy that shakes beneath our feet. And it shall radiate itself upon the landscape of all that we have ever known.

Close your eyes and relax. Empty your mind. Feel the life that moves through you. Create what you see and let that create what lay outside of you. Use it for your behalf and watch as it benefits all that surrounds you.

My roots are buried in the Dirty South. I grew up learning the importance of God and Southern Charm. I began writing in my late teens mostly through heartbreak and music. I moved out west 15 years ago and live right around the corner from the Fountain Of Youth. Most people refer to it as Lake Tahoe. I play Chef during the day and search for ways to save the world by night, through reading, writing, and believing. I enjoy the side of life that is less abrasive. I look forward to joining you on my quest through Spiritual Sobriety with the Promised Land as our ultimate destination.
